You can use parts of magicwork without creating an account.

b) Practice Feedback & Reflections

magicwork may allow you to provide feedback related to your mindfulness practice, such as:

• feedback on how a generated practice felt or worked for you
• short written reflections related to the practice itself
• optional notes you choose to save for personal continuity

These reflections are not intended to assess, diagnose, or classify your emotional or mental state. They exist to support your personal experience and improve future practice generation.

You are always free to skip providing feedback.

c) Practice Configuration & Preferences

To personalise your experience, you may select or adjust:

• narrator voice and perceived gender preference
• voice style or tone preferences (where available)
• background sounds or soundscapes
• practice duration and time selection (e.g. short vs long sessions, preferred time of day)

These preferences are used only to adapt the format and delivery of practices.

2.2 Voice & Audio Data

magicwork is a voice-first experience.

When you use voice input, we may:

• capture your spoken input via your device microphone
• process this input using trusted third-party services (e.g. speech-to-text and text-to-speech providers)
• generate mindfulness practices based on:
  • your spoken input
  • your selected narrator voice
  • your voice preference and practice duration

Voice input may also be used to improve future practice delivery, such as pacing, structure, or narration style.

Where possible, we aim to:

• minimise storage of raw audio
• retain only what is necessary to operate the Service
• prioritise text-based or abstracted representations over full recordings

We do not:

• use voice data for biometric identification
• sell voice data
• use voice recordings for advertising

When you use magicwork, we may automatically collect:

• Device & technical information
  • device type, operating system, app version
  • language and regional settings
• Usage data
  • interactions with features (e.g. starting a practice, selecting a voice)
  • session duration and general engagement patterns

  • city or region inferred from IP address or system settings
  • we do not collect precise GPS location for mindfulness use

  • to understand how the website is used

We aim to use privacy-respecting analytics and avoid detailed behavioural profiling.

• Backend & data infrastructure

• Hosting & delivery infrastructure
  • Vercel - website and application hosting, performance optimisation

We may also use additional providers for:

• analytics and performance monitoring
• error tracking and logging
• email or notification delivery

These providers process data only on our behalf, under contractual obligations, and are not permitted to use your data for their own marketing or unrelated purposes.

These mechanisms are designed to improve comfort and usability — not to infer emotions, mental states, or health conditions.

When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.
